We would like to announce that Lore will be temporarily stepping down as Marketing & Communications director until at least the beginning of February. She will still be completing her job as Gryffins Team Manager.

Underneath you can find her personal statement:

“When I first came into Belgian Quidditch Federation, I was just a person who was writing her bachelorthesis on the subject. I didn’t know anyone or anything. In the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to develop my skills as a marketing manager and as a communications director. I’ve learnt a lot.

Sadly, I’ve also learnt that combining studies, many health issues and doing this many volunteer positions, takes a toll on who you are. In the past months, I’ve discovered that stress can make me frustrated and causing me to do things, say things that I don’t mean or would have never said. Combining things is one of my hobby’s but as I am currently in the middle of a heavy University semester, it seems to have affected me and leaving me scrambling for motivation to successfully complete at least one of those things. For now, I’ve decided on focusing on University and working on myself.

This is why I have decided to take a temporarily break. I will take this break to find better ways to deal with the stress and hopefully let this break allow me to grow as a person. 

I will not step down from my position as Gryffins Team Manager, as this is a responsibility I’ve decided to take on myself.
